By using the ArchiveOwl™ website or engaging our services, you agree to the terms outlined below. These Terms of Service govern your access to our website, service inquiries, deliverables, and future digital tools.

1. Overview of Services

ArchiveOwl™ provides:

On-site 3D scanning and surveying of existing residential conditions
Production of as-built floor plans, interior elevations, ceiling plans, and site plans
Optional 3D walkthroughs and digital models
File delivery via secure Google Drive link
(Coming soon) A secure homeowner portal for accessing and storing all project documents, scans, and drawings

All services are provided for informational and planning purposes and do not constitute architectural, engineering, or permitting services unless explicitly stated.

2. Use of the Site and Services

By using our services or submitting an inquiry through archiveowl.com, you agree to:

Provide accurate information related to your home/project
Allow reasonable and safe access to the property for scanning
Use all materials received solely for personal, non-commercial use unless otherwise agreed in writing

You may not reuse, redistribute, modify, or represent ArchiveOwl’s materials as your own without written consent.

3. Ownership of Deliverables

All drawings, scans, and documents provided by ArchiveOwl are protected by copyright. Clients are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the deliverables for:

Personal record-keeping
Insurance documentation
Future renovation or resale planning

ArchiveOwl retains ownership of all original files, templates, and proprietary workflows.

Deliverables may include scans and visual data captured using third-party technologies such as Matterport and LiDAR. Client acknowledges this use and agrees not to alter or remove ArchiveOwl’s identifiers from these files.

4. Payment and Refund Policy

Full or partial payment is due prior to project delivery, as outlined in your invoice.
ArchiveOwl reserves the right to delay or withhold file delivery until payment is received.
Referral discounts, promo codes, or partner incentives must be applied at time of booking and cannot be retroactively credited.

All sales are final. Refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis for services not yet rendered.

5. File Access & Hosting

Deliverables are shared via secure Google Drive links
ArchiveOwl does not guarantee permanent file hosting
Clients are responsible for downloading and storing copies within 90 days of receipt
ArchiveOwl is not responsible for lost access to files beyond this window

In the future, a secure client portal will provide permanent access to all scans and drawings.

6. Field Verification & Disclaimer of Liability

All deliverables are for general reference only and not intended for permitting, construction, or regulatory submission.
Field verification by a licensed contractor, architect, or engineer is required before using any drawings for design, permitting, or construction.

ArchiveOwl is not liable for:

Errors or omissions resulting from incomplete property access or missing information
Damages resulting from misuse of deliverables beyond their intended purpose
Third-party delays or actions affecting your project

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The most current version will be posted on our website. Continued use of ArchiveOwl’s website or services after changes are published constitutes acceptance of those changes.
